Important Safety Information

TURNPIKE SERVICE IMPERSONATION

 

As of 4/7/2024 the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the E-ZPass Customer Service Center has been made aware of a fraudulent impersonation attempt by an outside actor.  The source of these events has centered around urgent requests via text or other methods stating an urgent matter with your account.  

 

If you receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from E-ZPass or other toll agency please DO NOT click on the link.  Use approved safe methods such as the official PA Turnpike website (https://www.paturnpike.com/e-zpass), PA Toll Pay mobile application available from the Apple App Store, or the official GooglePlay store.  If you receive such a text please delete it immediately and use the secure methods to verify your account.  

 

If you have any questions please feel free to contact the PTC Customer Service Center at the E-ZPass website or (877)-736-6727.  You can also submit a formal complaint about the text or email via http://www.ic3.gov.  This site is dedicated to recording and tracking attempts by bad actors to compromise US Citizens.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is pleased to announce the launch of our new website for our POV E-ZPass Customers. It features a more streamlined and refreshed look as well as improved navigation. We hope you find our new website more intuitive and user-friendly.

Retail and Commercial Account Customers should continue to submit their login credentials above to access their account.


The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (Commission) recently received E-ZPass transactions from the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) and requested the transactions be posted to Commission E-ZPass customers who traveled at MDTA toll facilities. The travel dates for these transactions range from June 2020 through April 2021. The Commission anticipates receiving additional transactions through December 2021. The delay in posting these transactions was due to MDTA’s transition to a new toll system. MDTA paused the posting of some E-ZPass transactions to review the data to ensure that customers were charged properly. The COVID-19 pandemic impacted MDTA’s ability to review the individual transactions in a timely manner. For additional information, click here
