Instructions to open an Emergency Travel Account (Account)

  • Entities wishing to travel on the PA Turnpike without a current E-ZPass account are required to open an Emergency Travel Account (Account).
  • The Account entitles you to receive special tolls rates.
  • To create an Account, you will need a Mission Number.
  • If you do not have a Mission Number, contact the PA Turnpike’s Traffic and Operations Center at 1.866.332.5889.
  • A Mission Number and Mission Travel Dates will be provided.
  • Detailed program information is available in the Emergency Travel Program User Guide. Print or retain for future reference.
