May 2019 TBP Changes – What You Should Know!

We Heard You and Made Changes!

  • Each TOLL BY PLATE (TBP) invoice is now issued for only one vehicle registration (license plate). If you have more than one vehicle that travels through a PA Turnpike TBP location, you will receive a separate TBP invoice for each vehicle registration (license plate).
  • Invoices are generated on a monthly billing cycle and include tolls, adjustments and payments. The first invoice number ends in -1. If the invoice is unpaid after 30 days, a past due invoice with the same invoice number, but ending in -2, is sent with a late fee. Past due invoices that remain unpaid after 30 days will be sent to a collection agency with a fee added.
  • Because of these system changes, you may receive multiple invoices for your TBP travel. Each unique invoice number must be paid or appealed.
  • The TBP Invoice Appeal form options have changed. Please review carefully.
